![]() That’s obviously a big no no and a no brainer of why they would be banned from the Pridelands, especially since, in some fan theories that state Zira, might have killed Sarabi or one of Simba’s cubs. In Simba’s Pride, Zira supported Scar and wanted to kill Simba with her supporters. As much as a lot of evidence can lead up to that theory, you kinda have to think about why they’re angry with said group. That seems pretty harsh….Ĭould there be something as dark as racism in our beloved Lion King and the spin off? My answer is…No. In the show, they even leave Janja and his clan in some pretty dark situations such as leaving them to the crocs or lava pit. In the second movie, it was another lion pride and they even say things like “You can’t turn your back on them” or “Not our kind” and “Your kind isn’t welcomed here!” in both the movies and the show. The hyenas were the bad guys of the first movie. Shoot, you might even say that for Lion King in general. This due to the fact that the hyenas are the bad guys, while any other predators are aloud into the Pride Lands and even hunt. Yeah, apparently, a lot of people, including fans that watch the show, say that the series has some hints the characters are racist. Some die hard fans say “Enough is enough, quit raping our childhood!” (which I think is bs), some Simba’s Pride fans hate it for some major changes that don’t tie up to the second movie (despite the second movie had the same problems that don’t tie up from the first movie) and some love it to death.īut among these people, there’s also been quite a bit of people both haters and even some fans, that feel there’s something dark among the series and that is Racism.
